Waited for two and a half month for it to climb back up. Gosh I have lost more than 40,000 NTD this year. I really cannot afford to lose more.

Should I or Shouldn’t I?

Normally when I have this kind of heading, normally I will end up with “should”.

Maybe a better word is “want”.

This time, is iPhone 4. Do I want to get an iPhone 4?

I have an iPhone 3G, not the 3GS unfortunately. It is still good and extremely usable, and I really don’t have a particularly good reason to get rid of it and get a new iPhone 4. Then again, iPhone 4 is just too appealing, especially the FaceTime feature, or the Retina display, or the HD recording….Gosh, it sounds like as if I have already been sold.

iPhone 4 won’t be released until September anyway, so we will see. But it is such a nice phone.

Well, although its not much, but its something.

I won’t say the number , but in percentage term, but its almost half of the last pay increase I had which was two years ago.

It is shit, but better than nothing.

This House is Falling Apart

Noise is one issue with this house, but now there is another. This house is falling apart.

First the lights just fail because the dick who furnished the house uses some bullshit energy saving bulbs that is not commonly used and costs a fortune. Yet they fail real easily.

Second is the poor overall finish. Colour of the paint from one room to another is wrong. There isn’t any proper coating after the paint job so the paint is starting to crack and peel off.

Now the corridor ceiling has this long crack and very much deformed, which I guess it’s caused by the steam extracted through the exhaust pipe from the bathroom that does not reach the air vent, but instead it gets exhausted directly to the corridor ceiling.

There are two people I hate. One is Mr Mao. I hate him because he referred to us the person who furnished our house and yet he blames the problem is with the house and not the person who furnished it. The other people obviously is the dick who furnished the house.

I just don’t understand why, but the people upstairs above us seems to make a lot of noise all the time.

It is either walking noise, moving furniture, noise from the drain, toilet, from opening door/window, or playing Mah Jong. Whatever it is, they are driving me nuts.

We have asked them many times about the noise and they either just play dumb, or pretend if they didn’t know.

I am seriously considering moving out of this place if the noise don’t stop. Fuck.

Never Knew I Needed

The other day I saw this Disney movie “The Princess & the Frog”. It was a very good movie, but it was song at the end that really made the difference.

A beautiful song, by a superb singer.

Look! Final Fantasy on iPhone!

This is great, my iPhone is fun again. Final Fantasy is on the iPhone!

Yep, without much hesitation, I purchased it right away. Although the screen is a little small and the control is a little different but the game is absolutely great!

I thought I would have purchased Final Fantasy XIII for the PS3 first, but instead I purchased the very very original, the ancestors of all RPG. Suddenly I spend more time on my iPhone than anything else now, hehehehe.

I am not sure if it is the age of this apartment or is it the people upstairs have absolute no respect for others. Since Chinese New Year, I noticed the noise coming up the flat above us is growing louder and louder. It could be people playing Mah-jong, walking, dragging furniture, whatever they are doing, it is loud.

We told them a few times and they said they were not aware of this. To me they just don’t seem to care at all. After telling them off, the noise comes right back again.

Friends told me I might be too sensitive because noise does travel from floor to floor. Plus it is an old apartment so noise can also come from old water pipe or just the building/concrete itself.

Anyway, I am close to the boiling point. I never though about getting a new house this soon, but if this does not improve, I might just find a place and move out.
